Sussex, WI Dental Office
Dear Sussex Dental Patients and Families,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and preparing to ease back into regular routines. We are ready to get back to work and see everyone's smiles again! Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and while many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

We wanted to take the time to update you on our office, its measured reopening, and the steps we are taking to ensure we do everything possible to keep our patients and our team healthy.

While our office has been closed, our doctors and team have spent significant time and effort deciding the best practices to resume dental care. Due to the nature of COVID-19 transmission, changes to the way we deliver care are necessary. The scientific information is continually changing, and we remain committed to staying as up-to-date as possible.

We will slowly begin reopening on Monday, May 18. We will be following rigorous scheduling protocols, office measures, and infection control guidelines set forth by the CDC, ADA, and DHS to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and the team members at Sussex Dental. For example:
•  Our front desk staff will call you beforehand to ask screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you arrive at the office.
•  Patients/guardians/guests coming into the office must wear a mask. If you arrive without one, a mask will be provided for you. Temperature screenings will be conducted with a non-contact digital thermometer.
•  We ask that patients come to appointments alone if possible. If a parent/guardian/guest must accompany the patient, they will be advised to stay in the waiting room, wear a mask, and adhere to social distancing protocol.
•  Hand sanitizer will be available for use when you enter/leave the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places to use as needed.
•  Our waiting room will no longer offer reading material, children's toys, etc. since those items are difficult to disinfect. The waiting room seating will also be rearranged in accordance with social distancing protocols (6 feet apart).
•  Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This may mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
•  We will be alternating rooms between patients to allow ample time for disinfecting.

It should also be noted that every member of the Sussex Dental staff will receive health and temperature screenings at the beginning of each day. Team members will be sent home if they fail to meet the standards set forth by the CDC, ADA, and DHS.

During this time, we ask for your patience. We had to cancel so many appointments over the last two months, and we know that there is a strong desire and need to get your treatment back on track as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to make this happen.
We are so grateful for every one of our patients, and this time away has only served to make us even more thankful for each of you. We ask for your patience and understanding during this re-opening phase. Please forgive us as we are focusing on getting each of you back on track while not exposing our team members or patients to unnecessary risk.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email our office.

Sincerely,
The Sussex Dental Team
